The inaugural event of the "Joy of Reading" series, sponsored by the Critchlow Adkins Children's Centers, (formerly Easton Day Care Center, Inc.) honoring Sheryl V. and Breene M. Kerr and the Grayce B. Kerr Fund, Inc.

Keynote speaker, writer, and entertainer, Peter Howell.

In his own words, "Peter Howell is a semi-retired journalist and full time smart aleck.  He has been the arts and entertainment editor of The Star Democrat, a Project READ volunteer, a member of the Mid-Shore Literacy Council, and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Delmarva Review, published by the nonprofit Eastern Shore Writer's Association.  He is currently a freelance writer and editor."

All proceeds benefit the tuition fund of the  CACC St. Michaels Site Renovation & Expansion Project.
