Dear Patrons,

It takes partnerships with the community to meet the needs of the children and families we serve in our community. These partnerships are both formal, in which we partner with other organizations or agencies to effectively serve our children, and informal, in which individuals, businesses, churches, foundations, and other civic groups provide financial and "in kind" support to Easton Day Care Center, Inc. Both forms of partnership are critical to making our mission of high quality, educationally based, affordable childcare a reality. Easton Day Care is proud to be part of a community who demonstrates, in small and big ways, its commitment to our mission.

Through carefully chosen partnerships, we have integrated ourselves with many community agencies and organizations that work hard to offer easily accessible services and programs for the children and families we serve. The goals of these agencies are well aligned with ours. Together, we work to efficiently offer an array of services, at an affordable cost, so the children and families of Talbot and surrounding counties can rely on us to create an environment that supports happy, healthy children, ready and able to enter and continue in school, prepared to learn.

Two of our most important formal community partnerships are with the Talbot County Public Schools and the Judy Center of Talbot County. Easton Day Care continues to foster its affiliation with the Talbot County Public Schools, providing wrap-around care for school-aged children by accessing space in public school buildings. We also rent school property to provide pre-school programs that prepare our communities’ children for the school experience. This unique service sharing relationship continues to be admired by other daycare facilities throughout the state.

We have recently partnered with the Judy Center of Talbot County. This collaboration allows us to access their library of age appropriate materials for children and their multi-agency services. In return, the Judy Center refers to us, families in need of quality childcare services. The Judy Center has helped us continue our quest for lifelong learning, both in our classrooms, and among our staff, who continually strive to provide the best possible childcare to the children we serve.

Easton Day Care is part of the big community caring for the children of Talbot County. With your financial support, EDCC can continue to do its part.
